Our forest is a unique and special corner of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The rainforest at Canopy Treehouses harbours an amazing density and variety of wildlife. We are proud to preserve and share this magical place with you.
We have extensive walking trails around the property for the exclusive use of our guests. Perfect for relaxing and experiencing native wildlife whilst enjoying the wonders of the ancient rainforest from your self-catered Treehouse.
Sharlynn by the River
Sharlynn is a stylish and private self-contained cottage, which hugs the edge of the rainforest and the North Johnstone River. The river will serenade you as you dine on your very own veranda deck. The space has a separate self-contained kitchen stocked with a large variety of local produce for you to prepare a delicious breakfast. This area near Malanda quite often is visited by the Lumholtz's Tree-kangaroo, a very unique animal. Our river is also home to the platypus, sometimes shy, but often seen by our guests.
Feathers 'n' Friends
The Feathers'n'Friends Cottage experience is a tranquil oasis located in Julatten, the hinterlands of Port Douglas. This secluded property is surrounded by lush gardens and wildlife, just a stone's throw from the best of Far North Queensland's rainforests.
